Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 July 2026 · Version 1.0
English translation for convenience. This is a courtesy translation of the Italian document, which is the legally binding version. In case of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on gurglee.app and how you can control them. It is drafted under the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, "cookie law"), the GDPR (EU Reg. 2016/679) and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They make sites work, remember preferences, or measure and personalise advertising. Some are set by us ("first party"), others by third-party providers ("third party", e.g. Google).
Our approach: no non-essential cookie without consent
On your first visit we install no profiling or advertising cookie. The Google AdSense script — and its cookies — are loaded only after you consent to the "Advertising" category in the banner. Until then everything stays blocked (Google Consent Mode v2, consent denied by default).
Categories of cookies used
1. Necessary cookies (always on)
Essential to the site working and to storing your cookie choice. They require no consent and cannot be disabled.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| gurglee.consent.v1 | Gurglee (localStorage) | Stores your cookie preference | Persistent (until you clear it) |
| __cf_bm / cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Security, bot mitigation | Up to 30 min / session |
2. Advertising cookies (with prior consent)
Set by Google AdSense to show ads and, with your consent, personalise them and measure their performance. Enabled only if you accept this category.
| Name (examples) | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __gads, __gpi | Ad delivery, frequency capping | Up to 13 months | |
| IDE, DSID | Google (DoubleClick) | Ad measurement and personalisation | Up to 13 months |
The exact names and durations of Google's cookies may vary; the up-to-date list is available in Google's documentation on advertising cookies.
3. Measurement cookies (with prior consent)
Reserved for aggregated, anonymous statistics on site usage. Currently not active: the category is present in the banner in view of possible future use.
How to manage consent
You can accept, reject or choose per category from the banner that appears on your first visit. At any time you can change or withdraw your choice:
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may, however, impair the site. Guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
Updates
