Gurglee processes personal data in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). This page summarises the principles we follow and the rights you can exercise. For the full detail of the processing see the Privacy Policy.
Our data-protection principles
- Privacy by design & offline-first. The app is built to keep your data on the device: the cloud is optional and off by default.
- Minimisation. We collect only the data needed for the features you use.
- Real consent. No advertising or profiling cookie without your explicit consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
- Transparency. We tell you clearly who processes the data and why.
Your rights (Arts. 15–22 GDPR)

How to exercise your rights
- Local app data: you already have full control — you can edit or delete it directly in the app, or uninstall it to remove everything.
- Advertising cookies: manage or withdraw them at any time from Cookie preferences.
- Account and cloud data: for access, export or account deletion write to [email protected].
We respond to requests without undue delay and in any case within one month, as required by the GDPR.

Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Italian Data Protection Authority — garanteprivacy.it.
